Important safety regulations for organizing events in Italy

“Being optimistic is a choice and it’s the right choice”

These words marked the closing ceremony of the ESOF 2020 Trieste, the biennial European Congress dedicated to scientific research and innovation that took place on 2-6 September 2020.

ESOF 2020 was the first international congress to be held face-to-face again in Italy after these months of lockdown and hard times, following the Government’s official decree which lifted the ban for organizing live events, starting from September 1st.

In no way this is going to be a “free-for-all” situation for events: Covid-19 is still out there and we will do everything in our power to guarantee that your next event in Italy will respond to the highest standard in biological safety.

For this reason, Federcongressi&eventi, the main federation of associations of the MICE operating in Italy, prepared the “Health-hygiene and behavioural guidelines for the organization of congresses and events of aggregation in biological safety” and asked their associates to comply with them.
